Role - Financial Controller Location - Crewe Salary - Between £65,000 and £70,000 + benefitsMarks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing distribution business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their office based just outside Crewe.The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified ideally with a practice background and will need to be able to display strong technical accounting skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads is crucial. Advanced Excel skills are essential and any exposure to working with a SAP would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:
- Responsible for month-end close
- Year-end and ½ year-end accounts production
- Cashflow analysis
- Ownership of the balance sheet
- Control of the Capex
- Assist with the budgeting process
- Variance analysis and reporting on trends
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
- Management of the finance team
