Position: Contract Maintenance Engineer

Rate: £35 per hour

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in the Food or FMCG industries? We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual to join our team in Crewe on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reactive and planned preventative maintenance on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the Food or FMCG sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering or Maintenance (e.g., HNC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
