Our client is a leading Chartered Building Consultancy who specialise in the design and project management of residential adaptations for clients with additional needs. With over 30 years of experience, their dedicated team provides expert guidance and innovative solutions to provide individuals and their families with bespoke, functional, and inclusive places to live.

They are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their current design team. This is a great opportunity to get involved with some highly rewarding work with a very successful business, and to quickly be in a position of running your own projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software.
  • Development and execution of design solutions for a variety of often complex needs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit applications for Building Regulations approval and other statutory approv- als.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support project development and decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.

About you

Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:
  • Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in REVIT software.
  • Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction processes and planning procedures.
