gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for an Automation Technician to work at their facility based near Crewe.
Performance Objectives
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot automated production systems.
- Conduct tests to evaluate performance of automated systems.
- Maintain records of automated systems.
- Develop and implement modifications to automated systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems.
- Assist with the development of training materials for other technicians.
Person Specification
- The Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial automation systems.
- This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and experience in the fields of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
- The Automation Technician must have a solid understanding of industrial processes and be able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
