Location:Crewe (hybrid,2-3 days a week onsite)
- Specification, system integration, test and validation to achieve the quality targets for the project
- Construction and maintenance for a set of test rigs, test vehicles in Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment and Diagnostic domain
- Flashing, coding and debugging analysis and problem solving on test benches and vehicles as well as VW backend
- Collecting, managing and analysing ECU logs to find the root cause and deliver solution to solve the problem
- Planning and managing project related activities on a weekly basis
- Working with cross-functional teams and suppliers to progress project deliverables
- Requirement analysis and development of test approach
- Conducting deep analysis of issues captured during your tests or of issues reported by the team and developers
Skills and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- A good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ideally along with Agile principles
- Hands on experience in the Automotive domain
- Experience of vehicle network protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay Automotive Ethernet in addition to diagnostics and ECU coding
- Experience in system testing and integration, manual testing, reporting and error management
- Experience with vehicle logs analysis such as DLT logs, Ethernet and CAN logs & Adherence to the VW standard VW99000 General Requirements
- Should you have experience working with VW tools such as ODIS, IDEX, VKMS, CP tool, ADB, Ethernet and/or MQTT that will be advantageous
