What you'll be doing:
- Conducting effective analysis to clarify, define, or evaluate data business problems and opportunities
- Eliciting requirements for change from stakeholders and applying appropriate data modelling and analysis techniques
- Documenting, organising, and prioritising all requirements, ensuring their accessibility to all stakeholders
- Collaborating with the team to challenge and refine business requirements, ensuring viability within the operating environment
- Planning and delivering analysis using agreed-upon approaches, ensuring timely and quality delivery of outputs
- Ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of all requirements and business processes documentation
- Validating proposed technical solution designs and test approaches to align with requirements and business needs
- Identifying and validating solutions while assessing business and financial impacts
- Assisting with organisational readiness assessments if required
- Contributing to investigations and feasibility studies as needed
- Identifying potential benefits and risks that may impact change delivery
What we're looking for:
- Proven business analysis skills applied in a automotive or manufacturing environment
- Experience working within a structured project environment
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Logical and analytical mindset with great attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex business issues and processes
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills
- Experience working towards time, cost, and quality objectives
- Innovative and creative thinking
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Practical and technical knowledge desired:
- Experience with waterfall project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2 or equivalent)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Agile and SCRUM
- Proficiency in using Agile tools like Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
- Familiarity with a range of core analytical techniques and methods, including impact mapping, wireframes, business process modelling, data flow modelling, use cases, SWOT analysis, and cost/benefit analysis
