Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm
Salary: Up to £60,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and business objectives as outlined in the annual plan.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high standards of service, from timely deliveries to technical support.
- Develop and execute promotional plans within budget and aligned with broader business goals.
- Deliver new business opportunities according to targets set in the annual planning process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, and report on sales performance versus budget.
- Collaborate closely with planning, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Serve as a go-to resource for export-related processes, particularly those involving products of animal origin.
- Oversee administrative aspects of sales processes, including price files, order tracking, and promotional documentation.
- Liaise with the supply chain and logistics teams to manage stock levels and proactively address any potential issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Who Were Looking For:
We need a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in international sales, ideally within the food and drink sector.
Experience in export and account management is essential, and fluency in additional languages (especially German) is a strong advantage.
You should be able to think strategically while executing tactically, comfortable with hands-on challenges, and have excellent relationship-building skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years in a sales-focused role, with a background in food and drink, particularly cheese or dairy, being advantageous.
- International export and account management experience.
- Fluent English, with German or other European languages as a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office and general IT tools.
- Full UK or EU driving license and the legal right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings and trade events.
