Key Responsibilities
As a Planning Engineer, you will be central to developing, agreeing, and delivering detailed planning requirements that align with various manufacturing zones and technologies. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Advanced Product Quality planning (APQP) processes in both pre-series and series production.
- Assessing and implementing jig, fixture, facility and tooling needs.
- Implementing engineering change introductions within assigned zones.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies
- Collaborating cross-functionally to resolve any issues in processes, builds, fixtures, and tools.
Essential Experience
To excel in this role, the following key experiences are essential:
- APQP experience.
- Knowledge of jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
- Proficient in change management processes and improvement methodologies
- Strong status reporting skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally.
