As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing the company's debt ledger and ensuring timely cash collection. Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively chasing overdue payments and ensuring invoices are settled on time
- Monitoring and reviewing customer accounts, identifying outstanding balances, and resolving discrepancies
- Assessing and releasing orders that are on hold, working with internal teams to resolve outstanding payments
- Managing inbound calls from customers and internal teams regarding account queries
- Reconciling accounts, reviewing ledgers, and ensuring accurate allocation of incoming payments
- Proven experience in a credit control role essential
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
- Confident using financial systems and Excel for reporting and reconciliations
