Data Governance ArchitectCrewe- Hybrid 6 months contract£650 - 700 per day (Inside Umbrella)

Our client, a leading organisation in automotive, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Architect to join their team. As the Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the IT data architecture strategy/roadmap, as well as supporting the delivery of new data services and projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and definition of a modern data architecture, including data warehouse/lake, extract/load/transform operations, and visualisation tools.

Understand and map relevant data sources, ensuring data quality and identifying any gaps.

Ensure compliance with relevant information security and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR.

Develop and maintain the data governance framework, ensuring accurate and authoritative data sources.

Support initial data connections, ensuring integrity, security, and performance.

Work with product managers and enterprise architects to challenge the existing technology portfolio.

Ensure alignment with industry standards and integrate organisational requirements.

Support the strategic alignment and delivery of data-focused initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Data governance - strateger - visualisation

Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role.

Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, practises, and emerging technologies.

Experience with data warehousing, data modelling, and data integration.

Familiarity with information security and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, DAMA) are a plus.
