Draughtsperson - Permanent Crewe - £25,000

Are you looking to join a well-established company who put development at the forefront of everything they do. We are currently working with one of our highly respected, long-standing clients, to help them find an experienced Draughtsperson. The company design and build specialist, bespoke structures for a wide range of customers across the UK and Europe. This role will see you working as a Draughtsperson, where you will be responsible for creating technical drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following

  • Producing working drawings for projects
  • Utilise knowledge of various machines, manufacturing practices and building materials to complete drawings
  • Liaise with internal departments to discuss the manufacture of components
  • Produce accurate set out boards
  • Ensure drawing are approved by relevant parties
  • Produce first draft Method Statements, Risk Assessments for Health and Safety and the Construction Phase Plans
  • Produce first draft Graphics plans
  • Updating existing drawings as new information becomes available.
  • Filing all drawings and documents on the company server
  • Ordering all manufacture materials within set budgets for projects
  • Attending internal stakeholder meetings

The ideal candidate will have previous work experience as an CAD drafter, have Advanced knowledge of CAD software and be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently. A strong knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, and architecture is required alongside a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications.
