The business is currently undergoing a period of growth and as a result is looking to recruit a skilled Electrical Engineer to join this expert team, therefore this is a rare opportunity to make this role your own and take accountability.

This role would be perfect for an existing Electrical or Maintenance Engineer capable of managing the day-to-day planned and preventative maintenance, across machinery and site facilities. You will have the opportunity to get stuck in and involved with facility upgrades and new installations in this fast-growing business.

In the role of Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing maintenance activity including attending machine breakdowns, attending facility issues, and completing annual servicing along with compliance activity for both machinery and site services.
  • Planning and carrying out machine installations and facility upgrades (specifically electrical)
  • Attend site management meetings and communicate project updates along with machinery availability statistics
  • De commissioning and disposal of unused equipment and machinery (Electrical and Mechanical)
  • Bring to the attention of management safety concerns, equipment issues or bad practices. Attend and take active responsibility as part of the HSE committee.
  • Advocate for the business to help communicate and deliver change for the better.
  • Manage the manufacturing process for new electrical equipment.
  • Ordering materials & supplies (electrical and mechanical when required).
  • Develop electrical devices and test them for safety and efficiency.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications - Level 3 or equivalent in initial and periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations.
  • Computer literate.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Accurate with attention to detail.
  • Ideally you will have exposure to mechanical engineering, however this is not essential.
