Powertrain Engineer - Technical Conformity
About the RoleWe are seeking a Powertrain Engineer to join our Technical Conformity team, supporting Functional Managers with South Korea and USA certification processes. This role involves coordinating, reporting, and ensuring the on-time success of certification activities.
As a Powertrain Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Procuring parts and liaising with stakeholders across the business.

Coordinating, documenting, and delivering data for milestones and gateway deliverables.

Supervising emissions testing in the UK or abroad when required.

Managing vehicle diagnostics and supporting cross-functional teams.

Engaging with internal and external customers and suppliers.
This role demands enthusiasm, punctuality, strong communication skills, resilience, and a results-driven approach. Attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of technical data and resolve complex issues are essential.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background in Powertrain, Body, Chassis, and Electrical engineering, as well as:

Experience in Emissions Type Approval, Certification, or Legislation.

Ability to develop and manage effective test plans, including resource and time allocation.

Experience in automotive industry processes and gateway reporting.

Project management experience in an automotive environment (preferred but not essential).

A degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).

Strong communication, resilience, and a goal-oriented mindset.

Korean language skills (useful but not mandatory).
