Sonic Summary

The position is for a Maintenance Electrician/Electrical Maintenance Engineer located in Crewe, CW1, with a working schedule of Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, including an early finish on Fridays.
The role is available to start ASAP and is set to last until at least June 8, 2025, with a pay rate of £22.08 per hour through an umbrella company.
Candidates are expected to have experience in both reactive and pre-planned maintenance, covering electrical, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines.
Key responsibilities include carrying out modifications and installations, liaising with contractors, and ensuring work meets quality and legal standards.
The ideal candidate should possess strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to maintain and optimize the reliability of electrical and mechanical equipment.

Maintenance Electrician/Electrical Maintenance EngineerCrewe, CW1Working Mon-Fri, 8am till 5pm (early finish friday)Starting - ASAPDuration – 08/06/2025, minimum£22.08ph via umbrella (no cis/ltd) Duties may include but are not limited to:Provide attendance to reactive and pre-planned maintenance (PPM) service requests within agreed SLA - as per project requirements to all operational assetsProvide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical, mechanical and building fabric disciplines.Carry out modifications and installations as and when required.Liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required and clearly communicate technical issues.Ensure that work is carried out to a high standard of quality and in line with current legal standards, company policies and proceduresMaximise availability of all mechanical and electrical equipment through continuous improvement, optimum performance / improved efficiencies and cost reductionsMaintain equipment supported by sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills, raising issues as required to the Facilities Manager or Lead Engineering on a timely basis.Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimise both reliability and maintainability.Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators (KPI) / service level agreements.
