Location: Holmes Chapel (CW4)

Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £28-30k (dependent on experience) + benefits

About the Role:

As a Machine Production Operator, you’ll play a key role in establishing a modern manufacturing facility from the ground up. Your main focus will be setting up and operating high-tech machinery and supporting the company’s research and development program. You’ll also contribute to a range of activities, working in a collaborative and inclusive environment where your input truly matters.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Machine Operation: Experience setting up and operating PLC-controlled machinery, with a strong commitment to following SOPs.

• Quality Standards: Excellent attention to detail and a zero-tolerance attitude to poor quality. Strong record-keeping skills are essential.

• Process Expertise: Experience in stamping, molding, and heat-sealing processes (preferably within an automotive environment) is highly desirable.

• Safety Awareness: A safety-conscious mindset, with the ability to promote and maintain high safety standards across the team.

• LEAN Practices: Knowledge and enthusiasm for LEAN principles in a manufacturing setting.

• Licenses: A counterbalance license is essential, while a reach truck license is a bonus.

• Mechanical Skills: Basic understanding and hands-on experience in mechanical engineering practices are advantageous.
