Are you a Cheshire-based Account Handler seeking a new commercial broking opportunity?
If so, we are supporting a well-regarded insurance brokerage as they seek a Commercial Account Handler to join the business in their Crewe office.
As Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the New Business, Renewal and Mid-term Adjustment process on behalf of a wide range of different commercial businesses.
To seamlessly fit into the position, we are looking for somebody that has proven experience in commercial broking and is able to demonstrate strong knowledge across a range of insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handling renewals and mid-term adjustments for clients, ensuring retention levels are kept to a high level.
- Assisting Account Executive’s with their books of business, covering a wide range of cross-class commercial products.
- Liaising and negotiating with insurers to secure the best rates covering clients’ insurance requirements.
- Ensuring the accurate recording of information on Acturis system.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven Commercial Account Handler experience, with demonstrable knowledge over a range of products.
- Excellent communication skills, both in a verbal and written manner.
- Good organisational skills, able to manage time and prioritise tasks accordingly.
- Experience of using Acturis systems would be beneficial.
