Are you looking for an interesting Finance Leadership project on a Part Time - c70% FTE basis?

I am partnering exclusively with a strong performing and growing, medium sixed global manufacturing business based near Crewe to secure an experienced, technical and commercial finance leader to become their new Head of Finance.

The role would suit a genuine all rounder, confident to own internal and external reporting, all associated inputs and aspects of core Finance at the head of a small Finance team - someone keen to work with and champion the team to drive improvements to process and quality of offering and to partner with sales and operational leaders to continue to improve the financial performance of the business.


This role is site-based on location near Crewe - c70% FTE


Role

  • Ownership and co-ordination of all aspects of Core Finance.
  • Provide leadership and commercial guidance and development opportunities to Finance team
  • Provide recommendations to the CEOs and commercial team and members of the board
  • FP&A
  • Financial Reporting: MIS (Sales, Purchase, and production), variance analysis (sales, RM consumption, fixed cost), and liaison with relevant other managers and teams to ensure this data is considered in decision making
  • Treasury management
  • Group reporting, consolidation of accounts, HMRS reports and filing
  • Costing analysis
  • Stock reporting (periodical verification, analysis of Non-moving, slow-moving, provisioning, etc)
  • Credit risk analysis and management
  • Support Group CFO



Skills and Experience

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience and progression in Finance in manufacturing, pharma or chemicals
  • Technical & Commercial skills - a genuine all-rounder
  • Leadership skills - capable of representing Finance and a financial focus across the organisation and up to Group
  • MRP/software migration knowledge and experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • ERP systems experience and in particular ERP adoption/migration would be an advantage
