Eventus Recruitment Cheshire are seeking a Financial Planning Administrator / Assistant to join a supportive and fast-paced team at a leading financial planning / IFA firm near Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. This is a great job opportunity to join a well-established firm that puts its customers at the heart of their business operations. You will benefit from BUPA cashback scheme, 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (+ additional day for birthday), free on-site parking, flexible working (core hours are 10-4), hybrid working (1-2 days working from home).

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Financial Planning Administrator will have previous experience in a Financial Planning Administration role. Responsibilities for this Financial Planning Administrator job include:

  • Assist independent financial advisers in administering financial plans and investment proposals
  • Maintain, setup and update internal client files and records
  • Process account applications, transfers, and other paperwork.
  • Servicing existing business ie. Policy surrenders, fund switches, policy changes etc.
  • Managing administration tasks on back-office system software
  • Prepare paperwork for client meetings ie. Valuations, new business applications, review documentation to clients
  • Liaising with product providers and third parties
  • Dealing with Letters of Authority
  • Adhering to compliance regulations and accurate recording of data
  • Liaising with team members to ensure client needs are met effectively and efficiently
  • Arranging client meetings
  • Emails, incoming and outgoing post and general office duties
  • Telephone calls with providers and communicating with clients on the telephone and via email

Person Specification

The incoming Financial Planning Administrator will have strong administrative skills from within an IFA / Financial Planning environment. Additionally, you will be competent with using various industry software packages. You will also have:

  • 2 years minimum previous experience working as a Financial Planning Administrator / Assistant
  • Experience using Intelligent Office is preferred
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills are required
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
