Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure site compliance with local, UK, and global EHS regulations
  • Act as the UK point of contact for environmental practices and manage compliance reporting
  • Develop risk assessments, safe systems of work, and training for staff and contractors
  • Promote sustainability through waste reduction and environmental management standards
  • Foster a strong health and safety culture across all teams, including partners
  • Develop and implement procedures for risk assessment, safe systems of work, and permits for in-house and third-party maintenance engineers
  • Regularly update documentation and practices in line with current legislation
  • Prepare content for public environmental reporting, including company accounts and government portals

Experience and Skills Required:

  • NEBOSH Diploma, IEMA Certificate, IOSH membership
  • 5 + years experience in an Environmental Health and Safety Manager title
  • Experience in a FMCG, logistics or automated environment preferable
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and SAP
