Senior Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Crewe (Hybrid: 2-3 days a week onsite)Contract running until 28th February 2025 with hight potential to extendPay: £600 - £650 outside umbrella

Main Goals and Objectives:Adecco, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the development of IT solution architecture strategy and support the implementation of new IT services, technology, projects, and system-based solutions to join our client.

A critical focus of this role will be leading the migration of HR ecosystem to the latest version of SuccessFactors, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business needs.

As a key leader within the department, you will oversee design decisions on existing solutions and shape the future vision for next-generation solutions, optimizing complexity and cost management across IT landscape.

This role ensures a seamless orchestration between Business, Data, Application, and technical domains, adhering to architecture principles and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and introduction of new products, services, or solutions for projects requiring functionalities beyond existing solutions.
  • Drive the migration of HR ecosystem to the latest version of SuccessFactors.
  • Develop high/mid-level solution blueprints to support project implementations.
  • Maximize reuse of existing solutions where applicable.
  • Chair the Architecture Review Boards, ensuring adherence to Architecture and Portfolio processes.
  • Maintain architectural documentation and ensure compliance with IT delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with IT Product Managers and Support Managers to ensure end-to-end solutions meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Provide robust, achievable solution proposals aligned with project timeframes.
  • Liaise with Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, and Technical Product Managers to agree on architectural solutions for projects.
  • Work with Product Managers and Enterprise Architects to challenge and refine existing IT technology portfolio.
  • Ensure bi-lateral communication of Proof of Technology/Proof of Concept initiatives.
  • Align solutions with our standards, integrating requirements into our Book of Standards.

Reference architecture in the cloud

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Reference architecture in the cloud
  • End to End solutions design.
  • Proven experience in a technical/consulting environment, coordinating and developing technology solutions.
  • Expertise in integrating new solutions into existing solution architectures, working within tight project deadlines.
  • Experience with HR systems, specifically SuccessFactors, and in migrating or upgrading HR ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of current and future IT solutions and trends (e.g., in-memory application readiness).
  • Experience in designing and integrating IT products to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Proficiency in generating and maintaining architectural documentation, including the use of Configuration Management Databases (where applicable).
  • Demonstrated ability to chair review boards and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
