Our client is a leading manufacturer of prefabricated façade, wall and roof systems. With a strong commitment to sustainability and excellence, they are an established and trusted name in the industry.
To support growth, they are looking for a CAD Technician / Technical Engineer to join their UK team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform static calculations for sandwich elements.
- Provide technical support assistance to customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Preparation of technical drawings as per project requirements.
- Visit client sites to provide on-site technical support and training.
- Conduct training sessions and create support documentation for customers.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex issues.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of support processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support, design, or a similar role.
- Advanced skills in CAD software.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with Revit, ArchiCAD, or other 3D software.
- Knowledge of SandStat.
- Experience in the sandwich panels / modular building industry.
