We require an IT Engineer to join a well-established and trusted solutions business out of their Crewe office. This will be a varied role well suited to an engineer with a passion for IT and a thirst for knowledge.

Youll be working with:
  • SQL / MySQL
  • PowerShell, CMD
  • Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Firewalls)
  • Hyper-V & VMware
  • Windows & Linux
  • MacOS
  • Azure
  • Hardware

Day to day youll be:
  • Providing technical support across a range of technologies
  • Working under pressure during high priority incidents
  • Delivering outstanding customer service through understanding the users needs.
  • Managing the internal IT Infrastructure and serving as the escalation point for the 2nd line team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Responsible for diagnosing a wide range of technical issues, such as networking faults, database issues and system errors.
  • Mentoring and helping develop 1st and 2nd line support engineers
  • Working with customers to understand their technical requirements and creating tailored solutions to resolve their issues.
  • Pursuing personal development of your knowledge base to effectively perform the role at a high standard.
