• Minimum 15 years’ Experience in Product Development Engineering

• Experience in Automotive Interior Systems, Like Cockpit, Console, Cabin Trims, Seating in OEM or component supplier is preferred.

• Responsible for Design & Data releases and technical issue closures for Interiors Systems

• Managing the Vehicle BOMs and Engineering Changes

• Strong Project management skills through Project documentation, trackers & escalations

• Ownership for product development, change management, supplier coordination and issue resolutions

• Coordination with various functional departments

• Creating and managing engineering databases with vehicle categorization and providing the vehicle specs and drawings for homologation certifications.

• Tracking of product testing and validation and issue resolutions

• Ownership of Gateway Deliverables

• Managing Sample trials & Gateway Vehicle Builds

• Timely addressing on customer complaints and field issues and provide resolutions

• Creation and improvement of Engineering processes for quality improvement

• Executing the VA/VE projects to reduce the BOM cost by standardization, commonization and optimization of parts

• Knowledge on APQP, Quality systems, DFMEA, DVP, etc.

• Excellent problem-solving techniques and Experience performing engineering calculations
