Are you an experienced Contract CAD / Tooling Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our client as they revolutionise the luxury automotive sector!

As a Tooling Engineer, you will be a key member of their Jigs & Fixtures team within Production Planning (Manufacturing Engineering). Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will design and manage tooling, jigs, and fixtures for our Final Assembly processes. Your role will also involve supplier management, equipment commissioning, and handover to end users.

Our Client prioritises safety and environmental compliance, ensuring that their activities meet legal requirements. With your expertise in practical problem-solving, you will proactively deliver solutions, mitigate risks, and solve issues. Your strong project management skills will be crucial in delivering projects within budget targets and generating deliverable milestones.

What we are looking for:

  • Advanced experience in designing jigs, fixtures, and tooling for manufacturing purposes using Catia V5.
  • Proven experience in working with assembly tooling, such as jigs, fixtures, and setting equipment.
  • Clear understanding of tolerancing requirements and relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • Great cross-functional communication skills to engage stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and planning skills, with proficiency in MS Project.
  • Ability to adapt to change while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Solid experience in practical problem-solving techniques.
