Used for analysis and research predominantly within the geological and environmental sector, our client develops and manufactures state-of-the-art scientific instrumentation, requiring excellent attention to detail to assemble complex, high-precision equipment.

They are looking for a dedicated, Production technician to join their growing team, building sub-assemblies and final products from technical diagrams and testing basic functionality.

Ideal candidates will have or be:

- Academic qualification or practical experience in electrical or mechanical assembly

- Previous assembly experience within an instrument/product manufacturing environment, working to fine tolerances

- Ability to read and understand mechanical and/or electrical drawings (such as wiring diagrams and PCB schematics)

- Strong time management with the ability to work unsupervised to defined deadlines

- Strong communicator and team player
