Manufacturing Technician Crewe 3 shift (37 hours per week)

Early finish each Friday £42,000 - £47,000 Pension, Life Assurance, Holidays, Bonus An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturing company. The business is looking to bring an experienced Manufacturing Technician to the Engineering team at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This is a challenging role involving diverse work. You will be tasked with the setting/operation of CNC & Power Press Machines as well as the maintenance & repair of the same machinery. Role Description * Setting & Operating Power Press/CNC Machines while performing reactive and preventative maintenance on all machinery and systems * Working to company safety guidelines * Ensuring the quality of production using SPC and following written SOP (Standard operating procedures) and RA (Risk Assessments). * Achieving set volume production targets. * Maintaining machines in line with preventative maintenance schedules. * Reacting to resolve immediate mechanical break downs. * Recording machine performance using the companies Smart Factory data collection system for measuring performance and OEE. * Taking part in company safety, quality, and performance programs Skills and Qualifications * 4-year Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with a Level 3 Minimum in Engineering - Must have * Power Press or CNC background desired * Hand Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Company Information As a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
