WRG are excited to be once again supporting a leading provider of logistics and supply chain solutions. Our client is dedicated to delivering excellence in service and safety across their sites across the Midlands. They are looking to appoint a proactive and dedicatedQuality Auditorto join an established safety and compliance department and help ensure quality control systems and processes are maintained across the business.

You will be responsible for auditing and monitoring internal processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that services consistently meet client and regulatory requirements.

The role would suit an ambitious quality professional who is looking to join a business that highly values safety and their employee welfare, this would be a hands on role where you will engage with the wider team to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal quality audits across all aspects of distribution operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate operational processes and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions following audits and non-conformance reports.
  • Review and assess customer feedback to identify potential quality issues and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting key findings, areas for improvement, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Work closely with operational teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation and records, ensuring they are kept in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support training programs for employees on quality procedures, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with changes in quality standards and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality auditing role, ideally within the logistics, supply chain, or distribution industry (desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, procedures, and audit techniques (e.g., ISO 9001 and BRCGS).
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to identify issues and propose improvements.
  • Good understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present audit findings clearly to both management and operational teams.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
