TXM Recruit are working with a business to recruit a project Manager for a rail refurbishment company.

Responsible for all areas of assigned project delivery including not limited to:
  • Tracking & reporting on performance against the project plan to agreed timescales.
  • Recording and managing project issues and Risk.
  • Support the HM Managers with the management of Project change.
  • Tracking Project finance through periodic dashboard.
  • Managing Stakeholders and Liaising with suppliers.
  • Initiating Project closure, including conducting lessons learnt and benefits reviews.
  • Coordinating Project meetings and managing subsequent actions.
  • Ensuring HM Projects adhere to the processes, controls and structured detailed in the HM Process Document.

Experience
  • Experience in a Project Coordinator / Administrator or Project manager role.
  • Good understanding of traction and rolling stock and rail vehicle maintenance activities (Desirable).
  • Experience of stakeholder management.

Qualifications:
  • Project management qualification, APM, Prince 2, or other (Required).
  • Training in Lean techniques such as Six Sigma (Desirable).
