Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Children & Adolescents
We are looking for a dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a passionate team, providing support to children and young people. In this role, you will make a lasting, positive impact by conducting assessments, delivering therapeutic interventions, and offering guidance to parents and carers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting psychological assessments to determine needs and support planning.
- Providing therapeutic interventions to children and young people.
- Collaborating with families and care staff to develop and implement strategies.
- Offering training and consultation to parents, carers, and residential teams.
- Supervising and supporting junior staff and assistants.
- Contributing to the development of services supporting children with complex needs.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
- Experience working with children, young people, and families.
- Training in trauma-informed therapies (e.g., DDP, EMDR) preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
What We Offer:
- Job Type: Full-time (part-time negotiable).
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm).
- Salary: £50,000 -£65,000 (negotiable based on experience).
- Location: Near Crewe, UK (flexible with occasional travel).
- Support: Preceptorship available for newly qualified clinicians.
- Sponsorship and Relocation Assistance: Available for the right candidate - we are happy to consider sponsorship and relocation support for exceptional applicants.
