Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Children & Adolescents

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a passionate team, providing support to children and young people. In this role, you will make a lasting, positive impact by conducting assessments, delivering therapeutic interventions, and offering guidance to parents and carers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting psychological assessments to determine needs and support planning.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions to children and young people.
  • Collaborating with families and care staff to develop and implement strategies.
  • Offering training and consultation to parents, carers, and residential teams.
  • Supervising and supporting junior staff and assistants.
  • Contributing to the development of services supporting children with complex needs.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • Training in trauma-informed therapies (e.g., DDP, EMDR) preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What We Offer:

  • Job Type: Full-time (part-time negotiable).
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm).
  • Salary: £50,000 -£65,000 (negotiable based on experience).
  • Location: Near Crewe, UK (flexible with occasional travel).
  • Support: Preceptorship available for newly qualified clinicians.
  • Sponsorship and Relocation Assistance: Available for the right candidate - we are happy to consider sponsorship and relocation support for exceptional applicants.
