Position: Ride On Roller Operator
Location: Crewe
Project: Large Scale Muckshift Project
Hours: 7am-6pm (10.5 hours paid)
Start: 23/10/2024
Duration: 4 weeks
Pay Rate: £18PH
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a ride-on roller efficiently to compact soil and asphalt for site preparation.
- Assist in muck shifting operations by ensuring stable surfaces for the movement of materials.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of the roller to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Report any machinery issues or maintenance needs to site management promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card.
- Proven experience operating ride-on rollers in construction or civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of site safety practices and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities on site.
