Join a world-class automotive brand in shaping the future of mobility.We're seeking a Connected Car Change Manager to oversee and coordinate the change management process within the Connected Car department. This is a pivotal role that ensures seamless deployment of software and system updates across group-wide infrastructure, supporting the evolution of connected vehicle technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage software and release deployments across the wider VW Group infrastructure.

  • Liaise with internal teams, VW Group partners, and external suppliers regarding Change Requests.

  • Organise and chair Change Approval Board meetings; gather and record stakeholder approvals.

  • Provide operational support across global regions including communication of deployment schedules and change freezes.

  • Assist in risk assessment, escalation of unresolved issues, and maintenance of change statistics and logs.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Support development projects and one-off changes for feature updates.

  • Back up incident management (Levels 3 & 4 support model).

  • Maintain and publish standard changes list and reference configurations.

  • Document and maintain operational change processes and task instructions.

  • Coordinate with app teams for release and deployment changes.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of IT Change Management principles and processes.

  • Experience working in an automotive or similarly complex industry.

  • Proficient communication and critical thinking skills.

  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.

  • Strong digital literacy and risk management awareness.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, after-sales, marketing, and external suppliers.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

  • Knowledge of German is a plus.
