RG Consultancy are recruiting for a company based in Crewe who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager of an SME in the day to day running of the accounts. The role is a new role, created to support with growing work load of the department. You will work closely with and report to the Finance Manager.

  • Flexible working hours (8/4, 8.30/4.30, 9/5)
  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday

The Role

  • Sales ledger, setting up customer accounts, produce sales ledger invoices weekly and monthly
  • Credit control support
  • Purchase ledger, imputting invoices invoices, supplier payments
  • Bank reconciliations, customer and supplier reconciliations
  • Supporting with payroll
  • Other ad-hoc dudites where the Finance Manager needs support

The Person

  • Experience with SAGE would be an advantage
  • Payroll experience would be an advantage
  • AAT part or qualified would be an advantage
  • Good IT Skills, including MS Excel
