We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant with a strong background in Accounting and Finance. This professional will play a critical role in providing insightful financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Our client is a large organisation in the Business Services industry, based in Crewe. They are renowned for their comprehensive range of services and their commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

The successful candidate with be highly numerate, with a passion for analysis. You will provide periodic and ad hoc analysis for submission to the Senior Leadership Team of this exciting company.

Description

As a Finance Assistant, you will report into the Financial Controller, responsible for the production of accurate and meaningful analysis of large data sets on a periodic and ad hoc basis.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: payroll analysis; control and reconciliation of balance sheet; management of one team member; work with stakeholders to build budget plans, review headcount and structure; build relationships with other finance stakeholders; support SLT with ad hoc projects and budgeting process.

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • Have knowledge of working in an Accounts or Analytical role - Essential
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
