Role: SEMH/behaviour support
Location: Cheshire East
Position Type: Full time (5 days/week, Monday to Friday)
Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Commencement Date: September 2024
Axcis are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH and behaviour support assistant to join a large and supportive team at a secondary mainstream school in Cheshire East. This role will involve you working with children in KS4, being their role model and mentor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEMH needs or behaviour challenges is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or the willingness to get one
The school has it's own private parking in and is also located near a local public transport links.
