About the Role: As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to develop a love for literature, language, and writing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve their full potential and will have the ability to foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment. You will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess lessons that are challenging and engaging, ensuring that all students are supported and challenged according to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, following the curriculum and preparing students for GCSE exams.

Develop and deliver creative lesson plans that engage students and promote a love of English.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage their development.

Maintain a well-organised and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and engage in school-wide activities and events.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Be passionate about teaching English and inspiring students to reach their potential.

Have a strong understanding of the English curriculum and GCSE specifications.

Demonstrate excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.

Be adaptable, creative, and committed to continuous professional development.

Ideally have experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4, though newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
