Key Responsibilities
- Ensure site compliance with local, UK, and global EHS regulations
- Act as the UK point of contact for environmental practices and manage compliance reporting
- Develop risk assessments, safe systems of work, and training for staff and contractors
- Promote sustainability through waste reduction and environmental management standards
- Foster a strong health and safety culture across all teams, including partners
- Develop and implement procedures for risk assessment, safe systems of work, and permits for in-house and third-party maintenance engineers
- Regularly update documentation and practices in line with current legislation
- Prepare content for public environmental reporting, including company accounts and government portals
Experience and Skills Required:
- NEBOSH Diploma, IEMA Certificate, IOSH membership
- 5 + years experience in an Environmental Health and Safety Manager title
- Experience in a FMCG, logistics or automated environment preferable
- Strong organisational, analytical, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and SAP
