Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Car Configurator Specialist to support the day-to-day management of a high-end automotive brand's Car Configurator platform across both Public and Retailer applications. This role sits within the Sales & Marketing function and focuses on maintaining product information, data logic, user experience, and performance reporting.

You will play a key part in the success of new product launches, model year updates, and business initiatives aimed at driving revenue. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Vehicle Configuration, and Pricing will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Platform Support

  • Create and manage data logic, product information, and visual assets within configurator platforms.

  • Collaborate with Product-aligned teams to extract and translate product data into the digital configurator experience.

  • Ensure accuracy of vehicle visualizations by aligning with the Virtual Media team.

Platform Development

  • Assist the Product Owner in enhancing platform functionality and user experience.

Maintenance & Operations

  • Maintain accurate data representation by liaising with internal teams.

  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues and bugs.

Performance Reporting

  • Generate reports using web analytics tools.

  • Provide insights into customer engagement and revenue performance on both Public and Retailer configurator platforms.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in the automotive or luxury goods industry or within a related digital/creative agency.

  • Background in or exposure to Product Marketing and product description systems.

  • Experience working with Dealer Networks is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, visual, and verbal.

  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across multiple stakeholders.

  • High level of self-motivation and independence, with sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

  • Flexible, team-oriented attitude and a proactive work ethic.

  • Budget and purchase order administration experience.

Preferred:

  • Fluency in German (in addition to English).

Technical Knowledge & Tools
  • Proven project management experience within complex business environments.

  • Hands-on experience with web content management systems-Adobe Experience Manager preferred.

  • Familiarity with image editing software-Adobe Photoshop ideal.

  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.

  • Solid IT proficiency, especially in MS Office and general PC usage.
