Role: Experienced SEND Tutor
Reed Tutors are currently working with the Local Authority in the Cheshire East area who require tuition for a student based in the Crewe area. The child will be starting tuition for a couple of hours a week for it to then be increased to 15 hours a week.
This opportunity involves working with a student who has ASC and high anxiety. The focus will be on supporting the student in English, Maths and ideally Science too.
Details of the Position:
- Location: Crewe
- Hours: 3 hours a week with potential of increasing
- Subjects: English, Maths and ideally Science
- Pay Rate: £30 - £35 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored tuition sessions to meet the specific needs of the student.
- Employ strategies to support the learning of a student with ASC.
- Collaborate with parents and other educational professionals to track the student’s progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience working with SEND students.
- Strong knowledge of the English and Maths curriculum.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
