- Should be a competent welder/fabricator and have a minimum of 3 years experience working with mild steel (stainless steel and aluminium also advantageous)
- Attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high quality work to a high degree of precision is essential.
- Able to read fabrication/architect/structural engineers drawings and have good communication skills.
- Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications.
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Must have positive attitude and good work ethic and ability to work independently.
- Reasonable level of English required.
Requirements/skills
- MIG and TIG welding
- Sheet Metal fabrication
- Metal bending
- Good knowledge of metalwork processes and techniques including welding, assembling, finishing, installing
- Mild steel essential, stainless and aluminium advantageous
- Skills in metal finishes/polishing and ability to spray lacquer /waxing/ blackening/ clear coats advantageous
- Must be able to read and produce from drawings
- Good eye for detail
- CSCS Card
- Fully UK driving license
