Production Planner, £37,000 pa + excellent benefits, Mon-Fri, 38 hours per week, Crewkerne, Permanent.

Are you a Production Planner looking to join an innovative and rapidly expanding company? I have a fantastic opportunity to join a manufacturing company based in Crewkerne that produces and develops products for harsh and critical environments. The Production Planner has a critical role in managing and optimising the production plans to meet customer deadlines for distribution across the globe. As a Production planner your role will include:

  • Plan schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels
  • Work closely with procurement to ensure on time delivery of components and materials
  • Maintain accurate records of production, inventory and performance KPI's
  • Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare and Present report on Production levels and capacity 
  • Be involved in continuous improvement projects.

As an experience Production Manager you will bring with you strong communication and problem solving skills to engage with stakeholders and maximise production effeciancy. You will need to have:

  • Previous experience as a production planner in a manufacturing enviroment
  • Inventory and production process knowledge
  • Excellent IT Skills (MS Office packages), ideally experience of using ERP systems
  • Be able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ideally you will have APICS or CPIM certification though this is not essential.
