You’ll play a crucial role in managing and optimising their production schedules to meet customer demand, while ensuring efficient use of resources. You’ll collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics, to facilitate smooth operations & maintain high-quality standards.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Analyse production data to identify trends and establish improvement areas.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Align resources and solve scheduling conflicts in collaboration with the production team
- Monitor production progress, adjust schedules, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and performance metrics.
- Implement production planning best practices, enhancing efficiency and minimising waste.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance and capacity to management.
- Support CI initiatives focused on productivity and quality enhancement.
To be successfully considered for this position you will need to have Proven experience as a Production Planner, or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. You’ll understand production processes and inventory management, and have analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
