KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspection of detailed parts in accordance with design data
  • Perform product Stage Inspections and Final inspections
  • First Article Inspection Reports (VISUAL FAIR and/or AS9102) and prepare documentation packs
  • Maintenance of supplier and reject logs
  • Data entry and administration
  • Good Inwards Inspection
  • Raising non conformance reports (NCR's) and completing investigations utilising problem solving tools (5 whys, Ishikawa, 8D's) and related CAPA's.
  • Management and use of calibrated measuring equipment
  • Support all relevant functions, promote and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Completion of any work related tasks, which would be deemed reasonable of this role


PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in Aerospace/Automotive environment preferred
  • Previous experience within ISO9001, AS9100 approved organisations
  • Recognised qualifications or experience in Manufacturing and Quality Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of CMM, in particular, Faro Arm training and experience preferred
  • Must be task/achievement focussed
  • Good concentration levels, attention to detail and methodical approach
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately keep records
  • Computer literate, Windows based - good oral and written skills
  • A good team player with a flexible attitude to work load
  • A safety-conscious approach to work
  • Must be reliable, have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
