Rate: 14.36/hour PAYE



Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support our Quality Team in managing metrology tasks for both internally manufactured and externally sourced components through the PPAP process. You will also maintain and update the site's Quality Management System (QMS).



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform component measurements and maintain records within the PPAP and ISIR process.
  • Support calibration and control of metrology equipment.
  • Maintain Metrology Lab to 5S and QMS standards.
  • Assist with product and process verification.
  • Provide input for problem-solving and improvement projects.
  • Support gauge calibration and ensure availability of spare parts.
  • Communicate non-conformities to Quality Engineers and escalate risks when needed.
  • Halt production if measurement techniques are not followed or product quality is at risk.


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a metrology or quality role.
  • Strong knowledge of PPAP, ISIR, and QMS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in using measuring and calibration equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
