Our client, a leading aerospace company, is currently seeking a skilled Fitter with composites experience to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a day shift role.



Key Responsibilities:

Assembles and tests product to agreed engineering methods and processes Supports and conforms to Quality procedures to maintain compliance, by ensuring adherence to the defined processes and procedures.

Task Management

  • Assembles, and tests composite components to agreed engineering methods and processes documented within the manufacturing instruction sheets.
  • Good understanding of material handling
  • Is able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Complete surveys and repairs to agreed practices.
  • Supports and conforms to Quality procedures to maintain compliance, by ensuring adherence to the defined processes and procedures.

Autonomy

  • Is able to carry out assembly tasks without supervision.
  • Works with team to identify and drive productivity and performance improvement opportunities to support cost reductions.
  • Has an understanding of lean manufacturing processes and works with
  • Contributes to the continuous development of the safety, health and environment requirements within the team's work area People Management
  • Actively supports and progresses his / her own development needs to ensure task flexibility via the use of Skills matrix.
