Job Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Crick (hybrid)
Salary 45,000 - 47,000
Main Purpose:
I am partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation that is looking to hire an Assistant Controller. This key role will be responsible for managing the financial operations across the UK, reporting directly to the Finance Director. The position involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as collaborating with internal teams to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and analyse weekly financial reports for each site
- Manage cost reporting and reconciliation across all regions
- Assist in preparing and analysing budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial and operational visibility
- Oversee period-end processes, including P&L reconciliations
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and capital expenditure tracking
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within financial processes
Key Deliverables:
- Streamline and standardize reporting processes across all territories
- Establish a consistent reporting governance across entities
- Take the lead in financial operations
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified/Part Qualified/Qualified by Experience
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
- Strong communicator with advanced Excel skills
