We are excited to offer the opportunity for talented Assembly operativesto join our team, where you will be at the forefront of creating and installing subframes.This hands-on role requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong background in assembly and wiring, providing a rewarding challenge for skilled professionals.

Pay Rate:

13.75 - 20.62

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday,

08:00 - 17:00 (flexibility may be required)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and construct subframes to a high standard of precision and durability.

  • Fit wiring looms and cameras to the subframes to monitor rolling stock systems.

  • Install and secure subframes onto rolling stock (conveyors).

  • Test and troubleshoot wiring and camera systems to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Work closely with the team to uphold safety and quality standards throughout all assembly and installation processes.

  • Keep accurate records of completed work and provide progress reports to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, or a similar role.

  • Strong technical understanding of wiring systems and camera installations.

  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings or schematics.

  • High attention to detail and dedication to delivering top-quality work.

  • Full UK driving license.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
