Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Crick ( NN6 ) they currently looking for Assembly Operatives to join their team!
Responsibilities as a Assembly Operative:
- Locate, pick and issue parts to works orders, from good warehouse locations
- Prepare a works order picked kit for production
- Check accuracy of parts transacted and make sure parts are correctly issued, a high level of accuracy is essential
- Locate completed kit into warehouse racking, storing all kits by shipset order.
- Ensure safe use of machinery such as forklift or reach truck, and adherence to all health & safety guidelines, at all times in warehouse and when in other areas.Â
- Coordinate and perform stock counts of picked shipsets when required
- Carry out stock counts when requested by the Warehouse Supervisor
- Carry out a short investigation of missing parts before reporting to the Warehouse Leader or Senior Warehouse Inventory operator
Skills required as a Assembly Operative:
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy of work at all times
- Experience of a warehouse environment essential
- Able to work under pressure without compromising on quality
- Capable of operating transaction/kitting equipment and ASC
- Must have good communication skills
The details:
- £11.50 per hour ( Increasing to £12.65 per hour after completing 12 weeks )
- Day shift
- 07:30 – 16:00 ( Monday to Thursday ) & 07:30 – 13:00 ( Fridays )
- Temporary ongoing positions
