Electrician - Quarry

Toro Recruitment is seeking a skilled Electrician to join a leading organisation within the industrial sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across multiple quarry sites, ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of electrical systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, troubleshooting faults, and implementing both temporary and permanent solutions to keep equipment running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine planned maintenance and remedial repairs on electrical systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults effectively.

  • Respond to emergency breakdowns, providing timely solutions.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to carry out installations and repairs.

  • Work with industrial fixed and mobile plant equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • City & Guilds/ONC qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

  • Familiarity with the Electricity at Work Act and other relevant regulations.

  • Experience working with PLCs, inverters, drives, and motor control circuits.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
