As an Import and Export Assistant, you will support the Senior Import and Export Manager by preparing import and export documents in compliance with customs and government regulations. The role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

The Candidate;
- Previous background within a import or export coordinator role
- A background within clothing distribution or E-Commerce is highly desirable
- Customs declarations experience is highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- 1+ years of experience preparing shipping documents and customs declarations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of customs warehouse procedures or similar.
- Qualifications in import/export or logistics.
- Experience with Descartes e-Customs system is advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Record all incoming goods and coordinate "Ex-work" shipments.
- Prepare documents to ensure goods move smoothly through import/export procedures.
- Complete customs declaration entries and shipping documentation.
- Review paperwork to ensure correct billing of customs fees.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to streamline deliveries.
