Position: Kitchen Porters
Location: White Horse Bar & Restaurant, East Runton, Cromer
Working Hours:Â 4 On 4 Off Full-Time Shifts
Salary: £27,000 Per Annum (£13.64 P/H)
Position Breakdown:
- 180 Working Days Per Annum
- 1,980 hours Per Annum
- 20 Days Holiday
- Pension Included

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen during our busiest times. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Dishwashing: Operating commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised efficiently.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying bins, and cleaning work surfaces.
- Assisting Kitchen Staff: Supporting chefs and cooks by completing basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, chopping ingredients, and portioning food items.
- Stock Management: Helping with the receiving, storage, and rotation of kitchen supplies, including dry goods, perishables, and cleaning supplies.
- Compliance: Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards set by the restaurant and relevant regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Duration:
This is a temp-to-perm position, and you will transition to a permanent contract following a successful probation period.Â
We require 2 weeks of your annual holiday entitlement be taken between January & February of each year due to the needs of the business.Â
